Who we are
Who we are. Awning is a division of Poseidon Network Systems CC, a close corporation registered in South Africa (registration number 2002/102980/23). In this notice, "we" and "us" mean Awning and Poseidon Network Systems CC. We are the responsible party for the personal information described here.

What we collect
- When you book a call or write to us: your name, email address, business name and what you tell us about your website.
- When you use the scorecard: the website address you enter, and, if you ask for the full report, your name and email address.
- When you visit the site: technical data such as your browser, device, pages viewed and approximate location, collected through analytics and cookies, only after you accept them.
Why we use it
- To reply to you, run the free call and send the reports you ask for.
- To follow up about your enquiry. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it.
- To meet legal and accounting duties if you become a client.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who processes it for us
We use the services below. Each handles data on our behalf, and they process data in the United States.

Because some of these providers are outside South Africa, your information may be transferred abroad. We use providers that give adequate protection, as POPIA requires.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and report requests are kept for 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a client. Client records are kept as the law requires. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your rights
Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) you can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to its use for marketing, and withdraw your consent. Email privacy@awning.one. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
Cookies
We use one first-party cookie to remember your choice, and analytics cookies (Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager, and Microsoft Clarity) only after you accept them in the banner. Rejecting them does not change how the site works. You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the footer, or clear cookies in your browser.
Security
We use secure hosting, encrypted connections and access limits. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you and the Regulator if a breach affects your information, as the law requires.
Changes
We may update this notice. The date at the top shows the latest version.
